SEE it: What is the mission of your project? What has inspired you to envision and implement it?:
The mission of this project is to help girls and young women who have been exposed to human trafficking to reach their full potential as human beings. I would also like to motivate youth to create projects that will combat human trafficking and slavery.
ACT upon it: What does your project do? What action does it take to accomplish its mission? Who does it involve?:
1. My project will teach young human trafficked victims to create their own initiatives that will help them succeed in their own lives. I feel teaching these youth to create their businesses and organizations will provide them with strong skills for the future. Also, providing them with a program that will incorporate arts and music will help them be rehabilitated as human beings. 2. Also, through multiple chapters, I hope to lead youth in a global movement against human traficking. By teaching youth how to create advocacy and fundraising campaigns, youth will be able to raise money and spread awareness for an important cause through innovative and creative ways. Other Programs: Building and facilitating schools in impovershed areas such as the Philippines, Africa, and Bangledesh. Provide clean water by raising money for inexpensive water filters. Providing scholarships for outstanding youth in schools.
INSPIRE from it: What has your project accomplished? Where do you see it going in the future? How can others get involved?:
I see it as a non profit that connects youth from all over the world to the Bay Area. I hope to go to the Philippines, where human trafficking is most prominent, and teach young girls to protect themselves and to become independent women.
